I have stumbled across a pretty incredible 3 day festival coming up in a few months. The LOOK3 festival this year will be three days of exhibitions, workshops, lectures and mastertalks from some photographers you may have heard of (Alex Webb, Steve McCurry, Nan Goldin, Mary Ellen Mark, etc.) and has separate workshop classes which, although are a bit more expensive, are with some pretty prominent people, like Brian Storm of MediaStorm (if you haven’t checked out MediaStorm, i would highly recommend it). The Festival will be taking place in Charlottesville, North Carolina, June 9-11 with some workshops being prior to the start of the festival. Best part, three day passes for students are only $60 if you buy online before March 15. Take advantage of this, it should be a pretty awesome opportunity.
